The 13th is a short, flat par three played to a green surrounded by 3 bunkers - 1 on the left and 2 on the right. The bank on the left edge of the green will kick the ball away towards the heather and trees. Sweethaws Lane is a public highway on the right separating the 13th from the 14th fairway.
Finding the green requires an accurate tee shot, which will be rewarded as the green is one of the few mainly flat ones with no obvious borrows.
But, don't be deceived - whilst it all looks so easy, most members would settle for hitting the green and walking off with a 3 on the scorecard.
