Disability

Crowborough Beacon Golf Club has made every effort to cater for disabled visitors.

Non Playing Visitors
Non ambulant visitors using a wheelchair should approach the club house via the pathway from the car park and enter through the front entrance. A portable ramp is stored in the lobby to allow for access over the step to the hallway. A bell is situated at the front door for assistance is required .

Playing Visitors
Disabled golfers are welcome at Crowborough Beacon Golf Club and two buggies are available for hire. These should be booked in advance of your visit and are hired at your own risk.

The topography of the course however is such that only ambulant disabled players will find the course suitable and for Health & Safety reasons we cannot accommodate specially adapted buggies where golfers can play from the buggy. Please however telephone the secretary before your visit if you are in any doubt as to whether the course will be suitable for you.

We would be pleased to take you round the course prior to playing so you can judge for yourself whether the course is suitable. To arrange this please contact the secretary who will make the arrangements for you.

Professional Shop
The professional’s shop is accessed via a short flight of steps. Any disabled visitor wishing to make a purchase from the shop should make contact with the steward on duty in the club house who will make arrangements for the professional or the assistant professional to meet you in the lounge bar of the club house. A telephone call to the professional before your visit would be worthwhile to ascertain whether the shop has in stock the item you wish to buy.
